MUNTINLUPA, Metro Manila – The Department of Public Works and Highways joined hands with Laguna Lake Development Authority, former senator Manny Villar’s Vista Land and a Dutch company to develop Vintahanan. The Vintahanan is a floating house which is seen as a solution for the flooding situation in Metro Manila. Said house makes use of similar technology found in the Netherlands and New Orleans.
