(Eagle News)- The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday, April 16, reported a total of 757 confirmed cases of COVID-19 involving Filipinos overseas.
“[A] total of 757 cases among our nationals abroad were recorded by the DFA today (April 16) based on reports from its Foreign Service posts”, the department said in a statement.
Of the total confirmed cases, 18 new recoveries and 15 new deaths were also recorded.
Four hundred fourteen (414) six overseas Filipinos, on the other hand, are undergoing treatment for the coronavirus, while 240 have recovered or were discharged.
“The DFA remains committed in supporting global and national efforts against #COVID19 to assist our people abroad until we see global “flattening of the curve”, the statement added.
