(Eagle News)—-The brother of Dominic Sytin has denied he had anything to do with the businessman’s killing in November 2018, saying he was merely being used as a “scapegoat.”

“I am innocent. I did not nor did I have anything to do with the killing of my brother,” Dennis Sytin said in a statement.

According to Dennis, he was not the kind of person who could kill any person, especially his brother whom he said he loved.

“..Those who are truly responsible for the crime are free and seemingly no longer the subject of investigation — this despite the statement of PNP Chief [Oscar] Albayalde that he still ‘does not consider the case closed,” Dennis said.

The police on Monday arrested the alleged gunman of Sytin, Edgardo Luib, who supposedly tagged Dennis as the mastermind in the killing.

The police had said the brothers already had a business-related feud.
