A group of comfort women expressed concern that their quest for justice may be derailed as the government courts Japan’s support in the Philippines’ territorial claims in the West Philippine Sea.
According to Atty. Harry Roque, Japan’s human rights violations against the comfort women in World War II should not be set aside just for the sake of the territorial dispute in the West Philippine Sea.
