COMELEC sets 10-hour voting time for May elections

Based on the decision issued by the Commission on Elections en banc, the voting time on May 9, 2016 will last only for 10 hours, with the polling precincts opening at 7 in the morning and closing at 5 in the afternoon.

However, the COMELEC clarified that those who are within the 30-meter radius from the polling precinct can still vote even after 5 in the afternoon.
