MANILA, Philippines – The Chairman of the Commission on Elections, Andres Bautista, said that he cannot comment regarding the issue of the voters’ receipts because of the pending oral arguments with the Supreme Court.
Bautista added that the COMELEC will disclose all the pertinent issue regarding the matter at the legal debate in front of the SC magistrates.
COMELEC admits that the volunteer teachers that will serve as Board of Election Inspectors need special training because of the sensitive process in the issuance of the voters’ receipts.
