Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers expected in parts of N. Luzon

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers are expected in parts of Northern Luzon today as the southwest monsoon affects Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said these conditions are expected over the provinces of Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers will be experienced over Aurora, Apayao, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya due to localized thunderstorms, PAGASA said.

The weather bureau said moderate to strong winds coming from the southwest to west will prevail over Northern Luzon and in Aurora Province.

The coastal waters, on the other hand, will be rough to very rough.
