(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected in parts of the country today.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Metro Manila,Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Zamboanga Peninsula will experience these conditions due to two low pressure areas, one embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone estimated 135 kilometers east of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte and another within the ITCZ 185 km west of Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will on the other hand have cloudy skies with light rains as the northeast monsoon affects Northern Luzon.
The rest of the country will have partly
cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
