Cloudy skies to prevail in parts of PHL

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies will prevail in parts of the country as the southwest monsoon affects the western section of Luzon.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Zambales, and Bataan will have  cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Flash floods or landslide due to scattered light to moderate rains are possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA said, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Luzon is forecast to have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will have moderate winds and coastal waters.
