Cloudy skies to prevail in parts of PHL today, June 25

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies will prevail in parts of the country today, Thursday, July 25, as the southwest monsoon affects the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

MIMAROPA and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers,  due to localized thunderstorms.

Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, and the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters, PAGASA said.
