Cloudy skies to prevail in parts of PHL

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies are expected in parts of the country today, Oct. 2.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods or landslides due to occasional heavy rains are possible.

Northern Luzon, PAGASA said, will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country, on the other hand, will have  light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.

As of 3 a.m., the low pressure area off Legazpi was estimated at 800 kilometers east of the city.
