Cloudy skies, rainshowers expected in parts of PHL

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers are expected in parts of the country today.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm as the northeasterly surface windflow prevails over Luzon.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to  localized thunderstorms.

Place: The northern and eastern section of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters while the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
