Cloudy skies, rainshowers expected in parts of PHL today

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with rainshowers are expected in parts of the country today, Monday, Oct. 14.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Western Visayas and Palawan
will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms as the Intertropical Convergence Zone affects Mindanao and Palawan. N

A surface windflow is also prevailing over Northern Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to  localized thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters, while  Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have moderate winds and coastal waters.

Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters, PAGASA said.
