Cloudy skies, rains forecast in parts of PHL today

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with rains are expected in parts of the country today.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said cloudy skies with scattered rains will be felt in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, as the northeast monsoon affects Northern Luzon.

Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized  thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains.

Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon will have strong winds and rough coastal waters.

The eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao, and the rest of Luzon, on the other hand, will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters
