(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies are expected in parts of the country today, Aug. 25, as the southwest monsoon affects Luzon and Western Visayas.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Zambales, Bataan, Batanes and Babuyan group of island will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
The rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Luzon and Western Visayas will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
