(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies are expected in parts of the country today, Oct. 5.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to a low pressure area located 250 kilometers northeast of Baler, Aurora.
Flash floods or landslides due to occasional heavy rains are possible.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA said, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, this time due to localized thunderstorms.
The northern section of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters while Visayas and of the rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
