Classes, work suspended in Santiago City, Isabela

Santiago City in Isabela has declared a suspension of classes and work on Friday, Sept. 14, as “Ompong” threatens parts of the country.

(Eagle News) – -The Santiago City government in Isabela has suspended government and private work on Friday, Sept. 14, as “Ompong” threatens parts of the country.

Classes were also suspended in the city, Memorandum Order 2018-42 signed by Mayor Joseph Salvador Tan  said.

The suspension applies to all levels, in both public and private schools.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said “Ompong” is set to make landfall over northern Luzon early Saturday.
