(Eagle News)–Classes were suspended on Saturday, August 24, several areas due to the bad weather.
Below is a list:
- La Trinidad, Benguet — pre-school to senior high school (public and private)
- Makati — all levels (public and private)
- Noveleta, Cavite — all levels (public and private)
- San Fernando, La Union — all levels (public and private)
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Severe Tropical Storm “Ineng” is expected to cross the Bashi Channel and will be closest to Batanes this morning.
A Signal Number 2 has been hoisted over Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands, while a Signal Number 1 was in place in Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Northern Abra and Ilocos Norte.
