China’s Foreign Ministry called for a long-term solution on the territorial dispute in the West Philippine Sea. China also added that such a solution can be achieved through a dialogue between the disputing countries. This in the wake of the Philippines’ step in filing a case in the United Nations Arbitral Tribunal as well as the other countries taking their own steps in order to remove Chinese presence in their claimed territories.
