China allegedly seized an atoll in West Philippine Sea

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Foreign Affairs is still confirming the reports of the alleged seizure made by China of the Quirino or Kackson atoll near Palawan. Said atoll served as a traditional fishing ground for local fishermen.
