(Eagle News) — The chief of naval operations of the Republic of Korea is in the country for a two-day visit.
Admiral Sim, Seung-Seob arrived on Friday, Nov. 29, the Philippine Navy said, and was welcomed with arrival honors at the PN headquarters, where he paid PN Flag Officer-in-Command, Vice Admiral Robert Empedrad a courtesy call.
In his speech, the chief of naval operations of Korea said his visit was “an opportunity to further enhance the relationship between the two Navies.”
He was slated to lay a wreath at the Korean War Memorial at the Libingan ng mga Bayani and also pay a courtesy call on the South Korean Ambassador, Han Dong-Man.
