After four hours: Marcos lead over Robredo dramatically narrows down to just 100,000

(Eagle News) — The previously wide almost 1 million-vote lead of Ferdinand Marcos Jr., over Liberal Party vice-presidential bet Leni Robredo dwindled to just over 100,00 votes in just four hours as the latest unofficial and partial quick count based on election returns of the Commission on Elections came in.

The quick count provided by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) showed Marcos with 12,593,119 votes compared with Robredo’s 12,476,529 votes as of 1:20 a.m.    With this latest tally, Marcos’ lead over Robredo is just 116,590 votes.

In just a matter of four hours, Marcos’ lead dove down from the almost 1 million lead he had as of 9:00 p.m., on May 9, when Marcos had 10,475,373 votes compared to Robredo’s 9,557,784

Here is the latest tally based on the unofficial and partial returns of the COMELEC as of 1:20 am. May 10.
