(Eagle News) — At least eight people were injured after a passenger bus overturned in Tanauan, Batangas on Thursday, May 24.
A police report said the N. Dela Rosa Liner bus, with plate number DX-127, was traversing the northbound lane of STAR tollway when it swerved to avoid another vehicle at 1:15 p.m.
This prompted the driver to lose control of the vehicle, which ended up on its right side on the road.
The report said 57 people were rushed to nearby hospitals.
