Alleged bomb threat sender charged before DOJ

Charges have been filed against a former television personality after she allegedly emailed a bomb threat to an airline company.

Charged for violation of the  Presidential Decree 1727 that prohibits individuals from sending bomb jokes was  Janette Alano Tulagan.

Tulagan, who was charged before the Department of Justice, was arrested by the police in her house in  Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City after authorities determined the IP address of the email that was used to send the bomb threat.

Based on the e-mail allegedly sent by  Tulagan in July  from the e-mail address  abubakarsahid@yahoo.com, the bomb would explode on July 13 in all planes traveling from Manila  to Kuala Lumpur.
