QUEZON City, Philippines – The Armed Forces of the Philippines said that its operations against the Abu Sayyaf Group will not disrupt the election. According to the Western Mindanao Command, despite the intense operation against the Abu Sayyaf, the operations are conducted in the mountainous parts of the province and not in the populated areas, especially in the polling precincts designated by the Commission on Elections.
