6 Abu terrorists slayed in Sulu row

(Eagle News)– Six Abu Sayyaf terrorists were killed during a 45 minute encounter in Patikul, Sulu on early Friday.

Spokesman for Western Mindanao Command Major Filemon Tan said the clash ignited when troops faced some 100 Abu terrorists in Sitio Makaita in Barangay Bunkaong.

Fourteen government troops were wounded, while Abu Sayyaf’s injured number is still “undetermined.

The terrorist group is currently holding more than a dozen hostages in Sulu. Recently, a hostage named Patrick Almodovar was beheaded.

Two other hostages were behaded before Almodovar after their ransom demand was not granted.
