4.4-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Thursday, April 30.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 1:46 a.m., had its epicenter 251 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.

It had a depth of 53 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
