4.4-magnitude quake strikes off Camarines Norte

(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Camarines Norte on Friday, Oct. 22.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:19 p.m.

It had its epicenter 67 kilometers northeast of Tinaga Island.

The following instrumental intensities were reported:
Intensity II – Mercedes, Camarines Norte; Polillo, Quezon
Intensity I – Daet, Camarines Norte; Iriga City, Camarines Sur; Guinayangan, Quezon

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
