4.4-magnitude quake hits Eastern Samar

(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Eastern Samar on Tuesday, May 7.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:02 p.m.

The epicenter was 66 kilometers northeast of Hernani.

The depth of focus was 125 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
