4.4-magnitude earthquake strikes off Surigao del Sur early Monday

(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Monday, March 4.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:51 a.m.

The epicenter was 30 kilometers southeast of Marihatag.

The depth of focus was 23 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
