(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Monday night.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 58 kilometers northeast of Cagwait at 10:46 p.m.
Depth of focus was seven kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
