4.2-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Sur early Sunday, May 30

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Sunday, May 30.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the earthquake hit at 5:20 a.m.

It had its epicenter 51 kilometers northeast of Bayabas.

The depth of focus was one kilometer.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
