4.2-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Norte early Tuesday, June 29

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte early Tuesday, June 29.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:41 a.m.

It had its epicenter 24 kilometers northeast of Burgos.

The depth of focus was 12 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
