4.2-magnitude quake strikes Agusan del Sur early Wednesday, Aug. 18

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Agusan del Sur early Wednesday, Aug. 18.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:59 a.m.

It had its epicenter 11 kilometers northwest of Talacogon.

The depth of focus was 57 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
