4.2-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, April 16.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 9:57 a.m.

The epicenter was 277 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 96 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported
