(Eagle News)—A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Saturday, May 11.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 64 kilometers southeast of Marihatag at 7:05 a.m.
The depth of focus of the quake was 19 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
