4.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Friday, May 8.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 8:18 a.m., had its epicenter 431 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.

It had a depth of 33 kiometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
