(Eagle News)–Around 30 inmates were rushed to the hospital after a fight erupted between two gangs in the Manila City Jail on Sunday, Sept. 29.
A police report said the inmates of Dorm 11 and 12 were brought to the infirmary unit for treatment after the clash between the Batang City and Sputnik gangs at 6:28 a.m.
The report said Jail Supt. Randel Latoza, jail warden, already held a dialogue with all dorm leaders to address the issues and concerns of the inmates following the incident.
Authorities are probing the incident.
