3.9-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte on Saturday, Sept. 28.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit nine kilometers northeast of General Luna at 4:06 p.m.

Depth of focus was three kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
