3.6-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News) — A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur early Friday, June 21.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, struck 74 kilometers northeast of Cortes at 4:55 a.m.

The depth of focus was 12 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
