A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur early Tuesday, April 30./PHIVOLCS/

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur early Tuesday, April 30.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which was of tectonic origin, hit 22 kilometers southeast of Lingig at 3:46 a.m.

The depth of focus was 29 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
