QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) – The Department of Justice confirmed that 127 inmates will be released after receiving executive clemency from President Rodrigo Duterte. Most of these prisoners are either sick or already very old.
According to Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre, President Rodrigo Duterte told him that he will sign the order next week.
