(Eagle News)–Over 100 police personnel have recently recovered from COVID-19, the Philippine National Police said.
The PNP said with the additional 111 recoveries, the recovery tally in the PNP rose to 5,093 as of Sunday night.
Seventy-five new cases have been reported, bringing the total to 6158.
Of these, 1048 were active.
The death toll remains at 17 with no additional deaths reported.
The police continue to ensure peace and order, and man checkpoints amid the COVID-19 pandemic, making them the one of the country’s frontliners.
The PNP earlier inked an agreement with Makati Medical Center to ensure the police personnel’s health amid the pandemic.
