(Eagle News)–A security guard was killed while three others were injured when unidentified gunmen shot at a car going out of a bar owned by suspected drug personality Peter Lim in Cebu before dawn on Saturday.
The lone fatality in the 1 a.m. attack reportedly aimed at Lim’s brother, Wellington, outside Infinity KTV and Music Lounge on Archbishop Reyes Ave. in Barangay Kamputhaw was security guard William Bocay.
Another guard, George Lambatan; and two German nationals who were just passing by were injured.
Wellington was unhurt.
According to the police, the guards were assisting a vehicle that was pulling out of the bar’s parking lot when armed men on board another car repeatedly strafed the area.
Police recovered 13 M16 bullets from the scene.
Lim was named a drug personality by President Rodrigo Duterte.
