(Eagle News) — The United States Embassy in Manila will be closed on Oct. 8, Monday, in observance of Columbus Day, an American holiday.

The US embassy said its affiliate offices will also be closed on that day.

The embassy and its affiliate offices will open again on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
