Scooter, a puppy born without front legs, seemed to smile as he wheeled across a playground on Friday (June 5).
Scooter has been fitted with a wheeled prosthetic device that was made with a 3-D printer.
Owner Tina Gans adopted Scooter when he was two months old. Now at almost ten months old, Gans said he’s hardly hindered by his handicap.
“He doesn’t know he’s missing anything, so he’s an inspiration. I just want everybody to understand that, you know, they can have a great life,” Gans said.
Gans found help for Scooter when she contacted the owner of another two-legged dog in Texas, who gave the lucky pup his prosthesis.
