(Eagle News) — Tropical Depression “Maring” has left land and is now over the sea of Zambales, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
In its 8 p.m. weather bulletin, Pagasa said “Maring” was last seen 10 kilometers west-northwest of Iba, moving in a west-northwest direction at 15 kilometers per hour.
It said if the speed and track of “Maring” do not change, the tropical depression could leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Wednesday night or early Thursday.
Signal No. 1 is up over Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Tarlac and Pangasinan, where moderate to heavy rainfall is expected.
Light to moderate rains are expected in some parts of Nueva Ecija, Batangas, Laguna and Quezon, which Pagasa said could persist within the next three hours.
Sea travel in the seaboards of Calabarzon, Mindoro and Central Luzon is still not advised, Pagasa said.
