(Eagle News)– The police on Saturday formed a task force to determine the identities and motive behind the killing of a university president in Cagayan de Oro.
Ricardo Rotoras, 48, the president of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines, was shot by a still-undetermined number of suspects outside his house in Barangay Carmen around 1:00 a.m.
His driver rushed him to a nearby hospital but he died prior to his arrival.
The police said they are still conducting a follow-up operation.
