The San Miguel Beermen now lead the semifinals series after defeating the Star Hotshots by only one point in a game 3 thriller on Thursday.
Marcio Lassiter was recognized as the hero of that night after he hit a clutch three-pointer in the last 13 seconds.
The Hotshots had by then held a two-point lead until SMB’s Chris Ross stole the ball from Ricardo Ratliffe, paving the way for Lassiter’s winning three-point shot.
Charles Rhodes led SMB in the scoreboard, with 36 points. Chris Ross also contributed 27 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
