House of Representatives’ stays the same
(Eagle News)—-Net satisfaction ratings for the Senate, Cabinet and the Supreme Court fell by one grade, while that for the House of Representatives stayed the same in the latest Social Weather Stations survey.
The First Quarter 2018 survey conducted from March 23 to 27, 2018, found that 61% were satisfied and 16% dissatisfied with the performance of the Senate; 45% satisfied and 24% dissatisfied with the Supreme Court of the Philippines, and 47% satisfied and 19% dissatisfied with the Cabinet.
The resulting net satisfaction ratings were a good +45 for the Senate, a moderate +20 for the Supreme Court, and a moderate +28 for the Cabinet.
The net satisfaction rating of the Senate fell by one grade from very good to good, at +45 in March 2018, down by 11 points from +56 in December 2017, the lowest in almost two years, since the good +41 in April 2016, the SWS said.
The net satisfaction rating of the Supreme Court also fell by one grade from good to moderate, at +20 in March 2018 from the +37 in December 2017.
The SWS said this was the lowest net satisfaction rating of the Supreme Court in almost six years, since its moderate +13 in May 2012.
The Cabinet’s net satisfaction rating also declined by one grade, from good to moderate.
The +28 rating it got in March 2018 was down by 10 points from the record-high +38 it got in December 2017.
This is the lowest rating in almost two years, since the moderate +22 in April 2016, the SWS said.
Only the House of Representatives net satisfaction rating did not experience a grade decline.
According to the SWS, 52% were satisfied and 17% dissatisfied with the Lower Chamber.
Its net satisfaction rating stayed good, at +35 in March 2018, although this was down by 8 points from +43 in December 2017.
